This is a story about a man convicted of a cold case murder in Texas. The trial was in 2004 the murder happened 1988. The ONLY thing Steve is guilty of is hiring a defense lawyer that didn't give a hoot. In fact George Parnham only met with Steve twice in the year and a half that he had the case. Steve was writing him checks from day one and then every single day of the trial. Hopefully after the half a million dollars spent since then in legal fees, travel, forensics, soil testing, and plain ole detective work,(all the things that his defense lawyer did not do) the Court Of Criminal Appeals will see that his trial was an absolute joke, and set my husband free. I can only pray.
